“70s Radio Station” Mural – Collaboration with Mikel Samson
This mural was created in collaboration with the talented artist Mikel Samson. Completed over the course of two days, the project was commissioned with the direction to transform the wall space into the setting of a 1970s College radio station, while allowing us complete creative freedom in the design.
The mural served as a backdrop for several scenes in the 2017 film The Last Word, and some of our additional paintings were also featured as part of the home decor for Amanda Seyfried’s character, Anne.
Though the mural itself was painted over shortly after filming—lasting only three to four days—it continues to live on through its appearance on screen.
