Silly Little Drawings

I treat my sketchbook as my own personal journey. I could tell you exactly what was going on in my life at any given moment just by looking at them. At one point in my life I dated one of the best artists I had ever met and will probably ever meet. I was in truthful awe of his artistic talent, but I had never met anyone that would match him in darkness either.
He would refer to my sketchbook as: "Your silly little drawings". That name stuck with me and I actually really like it. And as silly as they might be, they have been my strongest tool to process emotions.
