Children's Books
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to illustrate two children’s books, both of which include audiovisual components that bring the stories to life.
“El Gran Secreto” was published by CosaBuena, a Uruguayan social enterprise dedicated to inclusion through art and education. The book is fully illustrated in color and printed in braille, featuring a QR code that links to an animated short accompanied by sign language — allowing every child to experience the same story, regardless of ability.
The second book, “Soulies of Milgarden,” was developed following an animated short film of the same name. I collaborated as part of the film’s art team, creating backgrounds and color keys, and later went on to illustrate and design the book adaptation. This story encourages children to embrace their uniqueness and understand that being different is something to celebrate.
In 2007, I also wrote and published my own children’s book, a poetic story in Spanish for readers aged 7–10, which is available for purchase here.
I’m currently working on illustrating my first fully self-written and illustrated book — a project that brings together everything I’ve learned from both sides of the creative process.
